This is a unique opportunity to connect with the cows in an intimate setting, free from barriers. With exclusive access limited to just four people per session, you will enjoy the most personal experience possible.

Get ready to feed, pet, and pamper Dave and Frank with hugs, chin tickles, and nose bops. Then, enjoy engaging with them in a hands-on grooming session, getting them looking suitably show-ready!

Finally walk with them as they step back out into their home in the ruins of an old walled garden. And of course, you'll get to take full advantage of some amazing photo and selfie opportunities!

Our Ultimate Highland Cow Experience is perfect for anyone seeking an extra-special connection with these stunning and loveable creatures.

Wear sturdy boots, wellingtons or larger shoes. We advise bringing a change of footwear with you.

During Winter months you MUST bring appropriate footwear and clothing as our field can be extremely muddy. We recommend wellington boots and waterproof clothing.

What Should I Wear?

This is our most interactive Highland Cow experience.

You will be with the cows in their corral and field with no barriers. During the first part of the session, the cows will be tied up to limit their movement as a safety measure. However, you will have full physical contact with them.

If you are nervous in the company of large animals, this experience may not be for you.

Do you have toilet facilities onsite?

Because of our rural location, we use portaloos onsite. We have an accessible toilet with a baby changing facility. A baby changing mat is available to use if required.

Is the farm wheelchair accessible?
Most of the farm is accessible by wheelchair users, although some surfaces are uneven and may be more challenging in places. Assistance will be provided where required.

Are handwashing facilities available?

Yes, there are several handwashing stations on the farm for washing after handling animals.

What clothing and footwear should I wear?

Depending on the weather on the day you attend, sturdy waterproof footwear is advised. Warm clothing is essential in colder weather. Some areas of the farm may be muddy, so clothing suitable for getting dirty would be recommended.
